The Maxwell-Gunter Chiefs' Group was formed in 1981. Membership in the Group is open to active duty and retired chief master sergeants, chief selectees, Air Force Reserve chiefs assigned to the 908th Airlift Wing, Air National Guard chiefs assigned to the Montgomery Regional Airport, and sister service active duty E-9s assigned at Maxwell-Gunter.

| The Maxwell-Gunter Chiefs' Group does more than just meet once a month to socialize. The 100-plus active duty and retired members support many activities and events that enhance the morale, quality of life and recognition of enlisted personnel throughout the community of Team Maxwell-Gunter.
The Group meets at 1130 hrs on the last Wednesday of each month at the Falcon's Nest on Gunter. Executive Officers
